Having prior experience as both an Office Manager for a mid-size Los Angeles law firm and as a Senior Corporate Assistant for a large international law firm, Ms. Austen has an extensive and diverse background in the legal field and in business management.  She is responsible for the management of Austen Surveying, LLC, including all financial aspects/accounting, marketing, human resources, new project development, procurement of projects, project proposals, contracts, client interaction, administrative support, and conducts all court research.

Managed desk for head Partner of the Bankruptcy group and for a Bankruptcy group Associate of a large international law firm.  Extensive knowledge of court procedures and skills required in the processing of court documents for filings in all branches of the court system, except the Supreme Court; processed documents for recording with County Recorders and for filings with the Secretary of State;  heavy client contact; assisted Partner with business development/administrative matters; assisted Partner with editing of pre-billing, preparation of budgets when needed, and finalization of bills; set up new files for submission to New Business Committee.
